The Cottage at Windsong Farm
The Cottage is a warm and welcoming accommodation of country comfort. A fully equipped modern kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, two bedrooms (queen and two singles), a bath and laundry provide all of the amenities.
The mix of family antiques, artwork, selection of books, and games welcome you to read a book, soak in the tub after a walk in the nearby Oxford Forest, or settle in for an afternoon nap.
Outside one can sit on the veranda or the private patio and enjoy the changing light on the Oxford hills while sipping one of New Zealand's many fine wines.
Set a short distance from the family house, guests enjoy complete privacy in The Cottage. When questions arise or you feel like a chat, it is only a short walk to the house.
A radio and full sized television with SKY TV keeps one in touch with the news and one's favourite shows, but otherwise The Cottage is technology free to maximize your enjoyment of the countryside. High speed internet access is readily available at the main house.
Features guests enjoy are the tiled bathroom with a full tub/shower, comfortable beds, fresh fruit, coffee and tea, and the kitchen complete with a dishwasher and microwave. A continental breakfast is provided for your first morning, but then guests enjoy complete independence. Dinner and other meals can be accommodated upon request.
The Cottage is ideal for a couple seeking a romantic hideaway, travellers seeking luxury on a real farm, or families with children. Babysitting can be arranged with early notice.
